Control Systems
A range of expandable remote control systems for airports is available from AES.
Our AGL control system can satisfy the requirements of all type of airports from a simple CAT I system right through to a CAT III B with Advanced Surface Movement and Guidance Control System (A-SMGCS).
From the simplest configuration, with two Control Working Positions (CWP) and some remote modules (CLP) to control only CCRs (Constant Current Regulators) to the most complicated airfield, with many Runways and Taxiways and A-SMCGS needs.
The ALCMS is simply scalable and the modular software makes any improvement very simple and without risk for the final user.

- TWR Control Working Position (TWR CWP-WS), industrial PC based and Wide Screen display (WS)
- TWR CWP–TS with Touch Screen display (TS) sun readable based on transflective technology in order to better compensate the different light conditions
- Filed components (CLP) developed and built to exactly match the requirement of a demanding airfield. Every field component CLP is specialized to implement:
- CCR interfacing,
- Single lamp control and monitoring,
- Stop bar control,
- Guidance Signs control and monitoring,
- Runway Guard Lights control and monitoring
- Runway incursion detection (microwave sensors)
