GPI Glide Path Indicator
Aplicattion / Use
The GPI provide luminous informations to the pilot for the night landing with an helicopter in severe operating conditions where the use of standard fixed equipment is not possible.
The GPI mainly consists of a compact projector, that emits on the vertical plane a trichromatic light beam, as shown in the graphical representation.
